The Gallery – Self Portrait

I’m such a farking narcissist I couldn’t resist joining in The Gallery with this theme.

But lest you think I do ACTUALLY love myself , I really do not. I just wanted to show off the new Snapseed photo editing app I have on my phone. It is great and awesome. Lots of retro/grubby/dramatic filters and frames, and nice blurring tools. So. You can totally mess with your face. Which is fun.

I took a shot of myself and had a play. This is what happened:

I like to think I am GLOWING with some sort of supernatural evanescence. Spooky me.

I also like that my features have been almost obliterated by the filter. You can’t see what my mouth is doing. Am I smiling? Am I poking out my tongue? Am I mouthing something obscene? (probably)

Brrr! Snap Slappers Goes Wintery

I don’t know about you, but I’m fecking freezing.

Here’s Venice, in February, looking cold:

Now imagine you are in THE COLDEST MOST FREEZING VENICE EVER. Would look like this:

I’m pretty sure I just saw a polar bear. A FECKING POLAR BEAR. In Venice.

Well, of course I didn’t. This was all done by the magic and wonder of photo editing site Picnik. Which should have a health warning, it’s so addictive. It instantly makes all your photos look amazing. Or, really cold.

This is how I do my sexy-time: I cropped a bit. I added some colour boost. I opened the exposure and then sharpened it up, before adding a focal zoom effect and a black vignette. It all sounds very technical but I am just WOOING, basically. She looks FECKING GORGEOUS, innit.

I’m A Snap Slapper

Yes I am.

And Five Go Blogging didn’t have to bully me into it or anything. I quite simply LOVE playing around with the photo editing site Picnik and if you haven’t already, you BLOODY SHOULD. It’s lushballs.
